I'm super attracted to the idea of text only tattoos, however I've considered getting a baseball with the phrase "when you realize it's a pattern and not a phase, it's what you've become and what you will stay, that's ballgame" going around it, with "that's ball game" being in the center. It's definitely a work in progress. hahaha, i heard stick n pokes can fade over time which is why i'm not super worried. I'd be getting one from my best friend and giving her one in turn. I'd be getting a minimalist waffle (i rly like breakfast food man idk) or minimalist mountains as a reference to twiabp ("I am the mountains crumbling"). I have no reason for not having done the stick n poke yet other than I'm scared of fucking hers up.

Damn, so it seems Pedro the Lion is just back. New music and everything. That's pretty exciting.

 

I know there isn’t really a difference between his solo stuff and Pedro, but for some reason this gets me extra hyped.

 

I know it’s unlikely that they’ll sell out immediately but I’m not taking any chances and am buying tix to both Portland shows the second they go on sale Friday.

Four albums, two shows...would be cool if they played everything.

 

I was 10 in 1999. I've only ever really listened to solo Bazan. I suppose I should dive into some of these Pedro albums.

 

Start with Control.

 

His ranking of his albums is so wild and so interesting. I kind of wish he'd thrown in The Only Reason I Feel Secure just to hear his thoughts on that as well.

Both shows sold out in less than ten minutes. I'm so depressed right now.

 

Well, I don't know how, but I got tix for both shows. I guess people had tix in their carts and then released them..

 

Third date added in Portland because the first two sold out so fast.

 

his ranking is definitely not what I expected it to be, but it's about the same as what I what do. Control gets so much love, and i enjoy it a lot (get at me "Rejoice"), but Achilles was my intro to Bazan, so it sits high because of that, and Friend has and still does resonate with me so much since I first heard it.

 

The problem is there has to be a bottom numerically but there isn't a bottom in my heart

 

Should I get tickets to all three shows? I'm seriously considering it.

How much are Tix? If they're not too much I'd say go for it

 

They're twenty bucks. If it hadn't sold out by payday I'dve gone for it, but they just did.

I think two shows is more than enough lol.
