    I thought Phoenix was called that to signify the rebirth of Pedro the Lion. Hearing that it's about growing up in Phoenix, AZ is so cool. Perfect name for the album.

    I was incredibly excited to hear this is one of five albums in a series.

    Classic Bazan. However, if someone told me this wasn't Bazans solo stuff I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

    I downloaded 30 Pedro the lion songs last night after hearing them for the first time. So fucking good. Can’t hear the npr stream in Canada tho

    It's good. Was not expecting Yellow Bike to be my top track after the first few listens but that is a strong song.

    Sunrise is such a great opening. makes me think of a sunrise in the dessert in early 1980's. Really sets the mood.
