Cool! Don't sleep on David Bazan's work from the last decade. Some of my favorite albums. Pedro The Lion was mainly just David Bazan with a touring band and then he retired the name. Bazan released Strange Negotiations, Care, Blanco, and more under his name and they are all 100% incredible. Also check out his band Lo Tom.
Aye. Unfortunately they don't hit my area on this tour but I'm catching Pedro in a few weeks and just saw mwY on the last tour. I wish I was seeing mwY this weekend but I forgot to mark the date and made plans...
What's the best route to dig into his work? I've listened to Blanco and Care a bit, and I enjoyed Manchester Orchestra/Julien Baker's cover of 'Bad Things to Such Good People'. Hoping to get familiar before August, for as much as artists I enjoy seem to revere him.
