I haven't listened to the leak, but the song they just released on streaming services, Quick Escape, is a jam. I'm really liking all the songs they've officially released so far. Shaping up to be a great album.

Doing a run through of their discography today. I think I like Vs. more than Ten. Lower lows on Vs., but (outside of Black) I think it has better songs.

yeah Vs. is def better. I'd probably put Vitalogy above Ten as well

ten would be a lot better if the anniversary re-mix was the canonical version. i love the songs but the mix of the actual debut is kinda unlistenable, at this point, now that we have the brendan o’brien remix.

I honestly didn't get into Pearl Jam until Lightning Bolt, so for me, Ten is a distillation of every single Pearl Jam stereotype I've heard joked about.

But nobody jokes about the Fugazi elements in Go or Eddie's throat-shredding screams in Blood.

My older sister used to be a huge Pearl Jam fan. I remember hanging out in her bedroom while she was playing Ten and Vs. on vinyl way back in the day. I was maybe 9 years old? I always thought she was so cool and had the coolest bedroom haha. She had black and white prison stripe bedding that all sat on blue carpeting and like 3 lava lamps!

She had an awesome vinyl collection and amazing posters on her slanted ceilings too. I remember she had a Nirvana 'In Utero' album cover poster, An Edward Scissorhands poster, a Dookie poster, Pearl Jam poster, and a Meatloaf 'Bat Out of Hell' poster.

Because of her I discovered Eddie Vedder singing on Bad Religions track "Watch It Die". BR is still my favorite punk band of all time thanks to that song lol.

They lose me a little bit on Vitalogy, but Corduroy is a top 3 song and there are some amazing tracks on it

I like Bugs, but not in a serious way, haha.

Vitalogy is one of my favorite PJ albums though. I'd add Last Exit and Tremor Christ to that list too.

The only PJ record I've heard outside the first three is the Avocado record. I remember liking it. I don't think I could name more than five songs from the others.
