I love Backspacer. I don’t get the hate.

 

Backspacer is great, but I got into PJ with Lightning Bolt hahaha

Also biased because Avocado was their first album I bought after just hearing the "classic hits" on the radio

 

This song totally rules. Fully on board.

 

The new song is super groovy, it's awesome. Eddie sounds fantastic.

 

I can't stop listening to the new song.

 

A severely underrated album in their catalog.

honestly the last two are their only records that aren’t great

 

I really like Backspacer except the McCready tune. To me it feels kinda like Eddie Vedder & The Heartbreakers or somethin' and I like that rootsy feel coming thru.

Yeah, The Fixer is fantastic. I like Got Some too.

The versions of Just Breathe & Unthought Known on their Live on Ten Legs album are absolutely gorgeous too.

 

Someone mentioned Talking Heads and I definitely hear that. I’m diggin’ it.

I always forget how good this band is. New song is fantastic.

The Talking Heads comparison is spot on. For the last minute I almost started singing "Aaaaallllll I waaaaant is to breaaathe" over the top of it.

 

Man, I did not like this band growing up, but that new songs rules hard.

Yeah, and Pearl Jam are touring with the pixies and white reaper, but those are June dates outside the U.S.
