Anyway not what I was expecting from them but it absolutely works

 

Holy shit this goes - I am relatively new to Pearl Jam fandom but this is PJ’s take on the talking heads with a dash of the voidz in it and I am extremely here for this

 

Ed has a sharper edge on this song too that we haven't really heard from him (in my opinion) since the self titled

 

Hoping all the dummies on Twitter who don't like this song decide to boycott the tour so I can get a better ticket

Actually a really good song haha. It’s very Talking Heads. Something I never thought I’d say about a PJ song. Very new wave.

very cool to see them experimenting and kind of succeeding. I’m in.

 

Song rips! Absolutely love it. Hopefully this is a sign of whats to come on the album and not just a one off single. I think this is on par with Mind Your Manners as a great recent new album single. Might even be better, but two completely different songs. God I hope I get that presale email tonight!!

I really dig this one. Its refreshing to hear something a bit different from them compared to their other more recent stuff, especially Backspacer which just felt like a huge miss to me. Eddie's vocals here impressed me too which I didn't expect.

 

im one of the few who dont completely hate backspacer. It has like 5 good jams. Avacado is the only PJ album that fell flat for me.

 

I’ve listened to this like 10 times already this morning. Incredible song lol. The outro is an earworm.

 

Man I'm the exact opposite, I'm lukewarm on most of backspacer but love avocado haha

 

I still love that they have an album widely referred to as “The Avocado Album” haha
