new single drops at midnight, bill simmons played like ten seconds to open and close his podcast today
sweet, looking forward to it. I enjoyed Gigaton although it just reminds me of the beginning of covid and also them canceling their MSG show weeks before hand when things started to get weird. Dance of the Clare is still so fun.
extremely same lol have a very vivid memory of playing this album on the living room speakers one of the first weeks i worked from home with the windows open on a very nice spring day.
yea I remember playing it for the first time during a basement workout when the gyms were all closed.
same x3 haha And then i saw the boys for the first time towards the end of the pandemic and it was glorious. Can’t really beat Black>Alive>Yellow Ledbetter to close a rock n roll show folks
have some very similar feelings and associations with the Killers "Imploding the Mirage" which might be why I don't return to it as often lol
"dance of the clairvoyants" was such a cool offbeat single, the rest of the album didn't do much for me unfortunately
Im finding it hard to understand Eddie lol. That was ok in the 90s, but this just doesnt sound good. Musically its fine. I would say this doesnt have me excited for the new album.
It's literally £160 per ticket for Pearl Jam's London date. That's more than I paid for Springsteen, and the same price as a four day ticket I've got for 2000trees this year. That is absolutely fucking insane.
was lucky enough to get a presale code for Philly. Lets see this ticketmaster cluster in 5 minutes. wish me luck. but Im honestly not willing to go if tickets are over $200
Secured two tickets for Philly in the first section of seats, (not floor.) Total for 2 tickets was $1000.00 Dumped them real quick. Nose bleeds were $225 each. I said not worth it. 6 times live was enough
Floor (seated) for Chicago where $200 after fees most if not all tickets where under $200. 100/200/300 levels where 191 after fees. 400 level where $141 after fees
Really not enjoying the first two single of this album or looking forward to it. Its a shame cause I used to be engulfed in Pearl Jam.
