This is great so far after the first 3 eps. I think if the tone leaned any more serious or goofy it wouldn't work but they hit the sweet spot imo. Cena's acting is probably the best he's ever done too. He sells it for me at least. I dig the team's dynamic so far too.
This might not be for me. The formula of these shows is so played out, and I’m hoping I don’t watch the big dumb sexist strongman charm the team and win over the audience. Still haven’t see the third episode but I’ll probably check out after that if this doesn’t go in an interesting direction.
Jennifer Holland (35), who plays Emilia Harcourt, has been dating James Gunn (55) since 2015. It is quite an age gap, which I guess is typical in Hollywood, but they were adults when they started seeing each other, so I don't have a problem with it. I'm more just amused that he cast her in his movie. I mean, I like her just fine in the role. Just reminds me of how Mike Flanagan puts Kate Siegel in everything haha
When Vigilante said his secret identity I thought I'd heard the name Adrian Chase before. He was Prometheus in Arrow and had a vendetta against Oliver. Obviously a very different version of the character tonally.
Cannot watch an episode without watching the intro I’m kind of surprised by how much I enjoy the show so far
I will never click "skip intro" for this show and I can't say there are any other shows that do that for me lol
