it's cool that he's still creatively inspired and energized this long into his career

 

Yeah I'm really impressed with his late career run of New-Egypt-III

 

Slidin' is so much fun, I had to go back and listen to that track over again as soon as I finished my first playthrough

 

I love him so much

 

gotta love it

 

didn't really love the album. it's weird to be saying about him but I would have almost preferred it instrumental. there's some really cool stuff sprinkled throughout but his voice is just gone.

 

Just threw this on. I could listen to that Long Tailed Winter Bird groove on repeat for hours.

 

I still never got around to listening to Egypt, but New ruled.
Before New he put out an album under the name The Fireman. I feel like this song is his best song of the last 20 years. Don't know what the reasoning was for not releasing it under his own name.

 

May as well count Chaos and Creation and Memory Almost Full. He’s been so damn good

 

It's not under his own name because The Fireman is a collab with him and Youth, not solo. I dig all their albums, but I'll revisit this song for sure

 

This album is pretty good.

This isn’t really to my taste. Egypt Stations was stronger.

 

i know it gets plenty of credit but maybe i’m amazed is still somehow underrated

That guitar solo is so hummable and melodic that it's easy to miss how muscular it is.

 

paul’s guitar playing is so fun. just a dude playing riffs. it’s that simple.

 

I'm sure it'll be pretty cool, but no way I can justify $100 for it

 

$100 for this is completely absurd lol
