Like, they literally have Eddie Vedder in the front row, how as he not the choice (not that I think he'd do a particularly good job at it)? Have to imagine they'll get the Blackhawks dude for Game 4, Billy Corgan for Game 5 (joking).
Good for Patrick! Bet half the crowd'll be like "this guy sucks" because they don't know solid pipes from a hole in the ground.

Never could and still can't get into his vocal style. It's not terrible but I just can't handle the vibrato he always tends to do
I don't usually watch any sports, but the restaurant I was at last night had this on. Patrick's voice gave me chills, haha. He nailed it.
HAHA shitshow, I was gonna make a crack pun but he did it for me, unfortunately. Buy me some peanuts and crack...go home, Eddie.
And Patrick just owned it. Lots of people HATE his voice, I think because they don't recognize the heavy soul influences. Or dumb. Allmusic considers him one of the best singers around, thankful for that.
For some reason I expected Vince Vaughn to sing better than he did. It was pretty rough, although probably pretty reflective of what the average Joe would sound like given the mic up there.
