Just finished my rewatch for the first time in years. There are a lot more gay jokes than I remembered but other than that it still holds up perfectly. Can't wait
I was worried based on the trailer, but I thought the first episode was really good. Kyle getting canceled for "My Struggle" is a perfect callback to the original run.
Yeah I really liked it. My expectations were (cautious) very low but it did a great job handling a lot of my concerns
I thought the premiere was good. Not amazing or anything but it seems like purely setup so that's fine, although a big of a bummer because there are only five more episodes I know that Lizzy Caplan didn't come back for seemingly weird reasons but I still can't help but wonder if the constant mentioning of her in this first episode is setting her up to appear at some point
Not really feeling like the zip is there but it was nice seeing it get back to the usual format this week. Chao’s reaction to the actress eating her food was great though
I liked this episode a lot more than the first one, felt much more like a classic one. Adam Scott and Jennifer Garner have great chemistry and Ken Marino is as good as ever, although it's gonna be interesting to see how they keep shoehorning Constance and Lydia in
This leaves Hulu in 12 days! Fiancee and I are gonna run through the first two seasons since she’s never seen it. 3 episodes in and this show is pure gold.
The end of S1E9 is one of the darkest and fucking funniest things I’ve ever seen. The mid-credit sequence made me absolutely howl as much as any comedy ever.
Rewatching the show and it unfortunately doesn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped. On episode 9 of season 1.
Rewatching this to watch season 3. Really funny to see the future stars in this like Kevin Hart and Kaitlyn Dever. Show has some very 2000s edgy humor that hasn’t aged well, but holds up better than I remember. Caplan and Scott are charm machines.
The episode on Friday was my favorite of the season so far. Still feels a little rusty but they’re really breaking the new characters in nicely. Zoe Chao was such an awesome choice for this
I can't say if it's as good as the original run, because it's been years since I've seen them, but I've thoroughly enjoyed all of this season so far
