Ben realizing he was depressed after watching his claymation bit was the perfect combination of hilarious and disastrous. I can't think of any other show that can combine emotions with humor this well.
"Campaign ad" was on today and it has two of my favorite scenes. 1. Jerry, Tom, and Ben saying "Bobby Newport" 2. Ron's monologue after he declined lunch with Chris and the next shot they're at lunch. The way that's shot plus "was I drugged??" Is hilarious.
I can think of other shows that could do it here and there (Office in S2 and S3 was pretty good in some episodes), but nobody did it so well so consistently for such a period of time.
Do y'all remember when they were airing the world's smallest park episode for the first time on NBC and NBC spoiled it with a commercial like RIGHT before the episode started
Fuck, I do remember that. They did that with a season five episode as well when Ann and Chris were still figuring things out and the commercial showed them kissing.
I don't know if it was spoil-ish but the previews for Flu Season 2 pretty much made me predict Leslie was going to find out she's pregnant.
Poehler won at the MTV awards and shouted out to 7 years since the Parks premiere and had a cool moment with Pratt
One of my favorite and most memorable scenes is in the beginning of S6 when Leslie is in London and Perd has some ridiculous poll with "do you think she should be in London, do you NOT think that, or do you not think THAT?" Don't know why I find it so funny, but I do.
Andy: Look, Hogwarts. Ben: No, that's Buckingham Palace. Hogwarts is fictional. You do know that, don't you? It's important to me that you know that. Ben's delivery of that last line always kills me. He's so concerned, haha
