I definitely think Schur and company could make this super funny

I will say, low hanging fruit about the virus will be funny coming out of Perd’s mouth.

 

I’m fine with it. I always liked the UK model of bringing back shows for one-offs (not full seasons). It’ll probably be along the lines of something like the 30 Rock live ep.

 

I wonder if we'll get some callbacks to the Telathon episode if this is for raising money

I would love to see Ben Schwartz and Jenny Slate make an appearance

 

I hope Lil Sebastian makes an appearance from his stable

 

Bring them all back except that angsty gay character they had towards the end of the series. Can't remember the guy's name, but super unfunny and obnoxious.

 

I have a great idea for The Office, just need to figure out how to get it in front of the right eyes.
So, much like the show, the documentary makes its way onto a streaming service and has a huge resurgence. With views up, PBS decides to do a Where Are They Now?: 10 Years Later type thing. However, to get everyone back in Scranton, there really needs to be a funeral - Bob Vance, and he died while having sex with Phyllis.

But also my friend posed a good question which is does this take place before or after the finale? like the finale was the future right? So is the episode taking place “now” during covid19? I’m so curious

I can’t wait. I can’t believe this is happening. Truly the only bright spot in weeks

 

I can see this being something super vague as far as timeline wise. Not making any references to anything and just basically them all acting in character on a zoom call.

 

Yeah I just was curious if they were going with the storyline that they we’re using zoom because of the quarantine lol like build it into the story, I could see them doing that

 

I'd like to see it take place during the finale timeline. Does that make any sense? Like everyone is where they would be in 2020, according to the flash-fowards. I really want to see if we get any clues as to who becomes President, Leslie or Ben. I dont rememeber off the top of my head who was doing what in whatever specific years they showed, just that Jerry is mayor forever. Time for a quick rewatch this week.

 

I doubt that it will be like a legit entry in the "canon" of the show, I'm guessing it will basically be fan service but I could not be more excited
