Holy shit it didn't even occur to me that the final season takes place this year until now, it's been a while since I watched

 

Our tech is still lagging behind

 

Just finished up my first rewatch of the last season since it aired. It's near perfect. I cried every episode. I think this might be my favorite show ever.

 

the rewatchability is through the roof. my wife randomly just started watching s5 while i was on s4 during my rewatch and i'm not even mad seeing going through it twice with her

 

Some friends are watching the show for the first time and we wated the episode in season 7 where Ron and Leslie make up. So, so, so good.

The fake fart with the sax honk gag kills me.

 

Leslie's rendition of "We Didn't Start The Fire" gets me every time

 

that's probably in my top 10 moments of the show

Just watched an cringey scene from season 2 where Louis CK as Dave the cop tells Leslie he thinks Tom Haverford is a pervert.

has anyone else noticed an influx of the use of "galentines day" this year? Like that was definitely invented by this show right...and I hadn't really seen it other than by fans/referencing the show before this year. Now this year I've seen it in several places including target having actual galentines day stuff for sale.
I think it's cool but it's also like weird that people aren't relating it to P&R anymore, and also that it took years after the show ended to catch on in the mainstream?

yeah but it didn't take until after the show ended for it to take off haha

 

Yeah I was in a Michael's Arts & Crafts store and they had a giant display of Galentine's Day stuff with no reference to the actual show

 

I saw Galentine's Day stuff at.... Target? Some store recently, has the same thoughts of it being strange
