Finally saw this last week and it is one of my favorite films of 2019.

However, this is odd and idk how to feel.

 

Hell no I am not watching that shit

 

When my girlfriend and I were watching this, I told her that was 100% a thing that was going to happen. Hate being right about stuff like that.

edit: that’s assuming it’s English. If it remains Korean then I still don’t really get the point but whatever

 

At least it seems like Bong will be an active part of it

Hard to believe Bong would be involved in an immediate English remake but idk

 

If Bong is in then I'm in.

 

Just seems so unnecessary, especially since this has done fairly well in the US. I’ll keep an open mind because Bong is involved and HBO miniseries are normally good lately, but I can’t imagine it coming close to the original.

 

Watch it also be in Korean.

 

Now if they do it in Korean, that’d be awesome. I have faith after Watchmen and with Bong involved, though.

Whatever happened to that Toni Erdmann English remake?

 

In researching this, I found out that it was on hold but they are making a remake of Force Majeure with Will Ferrell.

 

There’s a trailer for it now and it looks bad

 

My favorite was when they made a remake of Death at a Funeral two or three years later so they could convert it from British English to American English.
