Wonder if JMJ is just producing the new album or if he's picked up bass duties. He did seem to stay very close friends after recording the self titled. (Probably a stretch, but that line up would kick some serious ass)
Zac's genuinely one of my favourite drummers. Not that I think he's Neil Peart but I've always found his drumming really enjoyable and loads of fun to air drum to.
Dope. Hoping for the best! I was pretty sad and surprised (but I guess not so surprised since.. brothers you know) when he left. He seemed really tight with Taylor.
Not really. He did an interview explaining his reasons. Maybe both? The self-titled is so well-produced, I'd be 100% in. Same. Personally, I don't mind it. I like Zacs drumming although I hoped Gillespie would record with them.
I wonder if 4 year album cycles are gonna be the norm now? I know between Brand New Eyes and self-titled a lot happened, but it looks like it'll be at least close to 4 years from self-titled before we hear anything new from them (doesn't seem like they've begun recording, just been demoing).
Looks like they're already in some sort of studio. https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/739927702346575872/YCHvyflk.jpg
I hope the website change means I was totally wrong about the four years thing and new music is coming soon. I also don't want to look too far into things like what happens in the Brand New thread.
Well, if it takes them as long as it took them to record and release the last album then this will probably come out next year and it'd be 4 years.
Yeah, I'm more hoping it means they already have something done and ready to release. I doubt it though. But I want to be wrong. Haha Self titled was so good.
I'm assuming they're finally getting in the studio to record the new album, so it's totally out this fall/early 2017. I don't think it'll take as long as when they recorded the self-titled, they've been demoing for a while.
I'd love for Jeremy, Josh, and Zac to rejoin so they can play All We Know Is Falling in full for an 11-year anniversary tour. And then keep that lineup and continue on... haha.
Honestly I'd be kind of disappointed if Josh came back because it seems like Taylor is a better/more interesting songwriter.
