I never know if BNE, the self titled, or AL is my favorite album by them tbh, but that’s for sure the top 3
I think AL is my favorite these days, but would have argued BNE in the past. Self-Titled wasn't my favorite, but has a bunch of great tracks like Last Hope
Self Titled feels really bloated to me. But After Laughter is definitely my favorite. I'm still a huge sucker for AWKIF though. Fell in love with Paramore before that album even officially came out.
I think this is where I am at with their discog at this point. my fav is whichever of these three I am listening to in the moment lol
I like AWKIF better than Riot!, which makes Riot! my least favourite Paramore record by default. I know that opinion isn't very popular, and I might be bias because I got into them off that album, and it appeals to me more stylistically.
Self-titled is their best. But I think there's a legitimate case to be made that each of their albums bar maybe AWKIF (which is still a pretty fine album) could be their best.
I'm the same way; I think the sound of AWKIF has a consistent ambiance that naturally flows with the album, while Riot! feels like a bunch of good songs on shuffle.
Sorry for the bump, I saw a song by Against The Current on a spotify playlist and holy shit, this is the most Paramore-core I have ever heard a song be haha. I don't think it's very good, but they really aren't hiding their Paramore-influence.
I remember Rock Sound telling everyone Against the Current were going to be the biggest band in the world...didn't quite turn out that way
Is shitting on people etc a typical thing with some dudes on this forum, or is it only me noticing ?!?!?!!!
You got rightly called out for making a sexist comment. Maybe listen to the criticism before playing the victim.
I'm late to the paramore thing cause I didn't get into them until After Laughter and then still didn't go into their back catalog until recently so here are my riveting hot takes going through their catalog over the last few months -the funniest part of the misery business video is when hayley wipes off the evil whore lady's makeup like it's a sick burn when hayley is probably wearing more makeup than she is lmao -surprisingly the Emergency video ages worse than the misery business one. But it's quaint in a v cliche mid-late 00s emo music video kind of way. The guys' hair in the video, the drab aesthetic, etc etc -idk the fan consensus of their albums but after laughter and brand new eyes are my fave two I think. -hayleys blonde hair is was more #iconic than the orange -I think Last Hope is their best song -i had a terrible experience with gooddyeyoung poser paste years ago but I'm deciding to get over my hayley williams endorsement trust issues and preordered her tea collab That's all for now
Totally agree that Last Hope is their best and AL and BNE are my favorites! Their Chicago performance of Last Hope was sooo good
I'm literally watching it right now!! I've watched it like ten times. My grandma passed away recently and the song came up on shuffle and when I heard it for the first time I legit cried like instantly
