Reports from Parahoy last night: -they opened with Hallelujah and played Oh Star (kill me) -Taylor apparently got WASTED and danced with ppl during Paraoke (I'm dying) -a couple got engaged (lay me down to rest) -Hayley said: "It's been an honor to play with Josh, Zac, and Jeremy, and everyone who has played for Paramore. (I'm literally a puddle let me die peacefully please.)
I'm also sad to see the news from this weekend, hopefully they'll get past this easily. Can't wait for new music from them, it will automatically become my most anticipated album whenever it gets announced.
Kayla! It's so great to have a place to talk about our fav band with having fucking nerds come in just to trash Hayley.
MAN i fucking love Brand New Eyes. that album+"Ignorance" got me through so much in high school and it still means a lot to me now
It took me a long time to come to this conclusion, but I feel like their s/t is my favorite record of theirs. Goes to show that when they get shaken up they come back stronger than ever. Excited for what's next.
one of those moments that rudely reminds me of my vocal limitations; trying to sing along to Playing God in the car. i just cant sing along in that key/orwhateveritscalled damn my limited vocal prowess
Me loveeeee Paramoreeeeeeeeee I think basically each record has been better than the one before it, so I couldn't be any more excited for whatever's being cooked up for LP5. On a funny note, I recently moved to Nashville, where I've met the sister-in-law of Taylor York (his brother Justin's wife, Justin being one of Paramore's touring members) and I've visited the church where Josh Farro is attending. Josh actually invited my brother to try out for his band for the Rocket Summer tour, but it didn't work out. The new Farro album is surprisingly good though, lots of jams on there. I don't miss his input in Paramore's music, but he's still a good songwriter.
This is so golden. I had such a big crush on Hayley back then. One of my favorite stories from my teenager years was getting a phone call from her on my 15th birthday. All We Know is Falling remained my favorite Paramore album until I finally gave the s/t album a fair chance halfway through 2013.
Agreed. I always preferred the idea of having "Escape Route" or "Native Tongue" on the record instead of "Be Alone." That's the only filler track in my opinion, other than the ukulele interludes (which I still enjoy when I'm listening to the album from top to bottom).
