It is well deserved because every album they put out is better than the last except for self titled but that's ok because we got Last Hope out of it

agreed but it's still at least a lateral move and i think to sustain the quality of BNE is still impressive

 

Now is a fun song. I absolutely loathe Still Into You, and Ain't it Fun got old quick imo

 

correct, and Part II is their best song

 

I like Part 2 but it feels like more of an idea than a finished product to me. I think it could have been fleshed out more

 

honestly looking at the track list for the first time in a minute, daydreaming is for sure one of their best cuts. i also always had a soft spot for the interludes

 

I think TIW is an album I’m just never gonna warm up to, despite liking some songs.

 

oh right yeah i forgot about that one lol. im so full of shit, after laughter is their best for me. i enjoy everything i come across tho

 

After Laughter is peak, for sure.

 

I just cringe so hard when I tell people Paramore is one of my favorite bands and they excitedly play me a clip of Still Into You to try and relate to me lol

 

weirdo behavior on their part, im cringing from here

 

It's happened, like, at least twice lol

Maybe not outright playing the song but either singing it or referencing it in some manner

 

I've never met a single person who plays me a song when I tell them I like a band, what in the world

 

BNE is their best

 

It has a special place in my heart as my favorite but I honestly don't know that I would call it their best. Absolutely respect the opinion, though! Careful and Turn It Off rip.

 

After Laughter, BNE and TIW are the top 3 for me. I do prefer Hayley solo though

 

I agree with all of that but I think I would sprinkle in her solo work somewhere in between the 3. I'd have to think it through. Some of it is undoubtedly better than a good chunk of Paramores best.

 

Just need to say that Still Into You is a textbook bop.

 

Btw my sister played Misery Business at her wedding reception for me and I thought she was a real one for it lol. I'm not even huge into that song but I loved her for thinking of me when she chose it anyways.

It was also maybe one of the biggest songs on the dance floor that night. Even my mom ran up excitedly asking if it was Paramore lol

 

I don't really love Hayley's solo stuff, it's just not really my style but I need to listen to more of it

 

Just bringing back this wild take because I don't think it's been shamed upon enough
