Page 3 Full List — No Music For Genocide Paramore have joined the No Music for Genocide initiative, pulling access to their music from streaming services in Israel. Hayley has supposedly pulled access to EDAABP as well. we love to see it!
Hayley is going to be on the Australian radio station triple j tomorrow at 4 pm. rumour is she might be premiering a new song? but Oz Concert News on Twitter also said it “could be major”. I would die if it’s a tour lol edit: that’s 7 am UK time and 2 am EST
https://www.stereogum.com/2324623/h...n-plan-to-geo-block-her-music-in-israel/news/ speaking prematurely could only cause more confusion. i don’t know why those albums were made available again after being successfuly geoblocked. i have wondered whether those records are even able to be a part of this boycott but my team have been relentless in trying to help get it done. lastly, i can only be a mouthpiece for myself right now but hopefully paramore albums are/will remain taken down because it is my belief that boycotts work and i do think as many artists as possible should try and participate in this initiative. Also a reminder that big labels/bands/different labels that bands have left make getting music up and down on platforms not the easiest. It's why you see albums leave, then come back, etc., so having some grace with bands can go a long way.
I assume if you're on a major, the decision to remove your catalog is probably not up to you but I could be wrong.
Interesting, Hayley just posted a ton of photos on her Instagram 16 hours ago and they seem to mostly be After Laughter-era stuff
I took her dumping all those photos from AL-era last night as a precursor to her dropping the new song this morning--since that track is clearly about her & Taylor's relationship which seems to have started during the AL tour cycle
About to give it a spin, but aw those lyrics make me sad. So, sounds like Taylor broke up with her and she's still feeling sad about it? Damn
