I used to adore the debut but after falling off them I really only enjoy listening to the last albums.
I think I've listened to AWKIF like once. Imo they get better each album up until AL which is their best. Then TIW is somewhere in the middle

Self titled is probably my least fav. This is Why is probably around there too, but only cuz I haven’t listened to it much.
I played the shit out of This is Why when it came out but I rarely return to it. Their sweet spot for me is BNE-S/T-AL. Insane run. Love songs from every album though.
al > bne > s/t > tiw > awk > riot top two are perfect records to me. s/t has hiiiiigh highs. thick skull might be my favorite pmore song at this point. rarely go back to their first two records, but they were pivotal in shaping my music tastes at the time.
I feel like you kind of have to draw line after the first three albums. They become a much more sonically expansive band with self-titled.
Other than a handful of songs, S/T is easily my least favorite album from them. Last Hope is a fantastic song, though
