Does it have a crabcore breakdown or something?

 

I guess they were leftovers from the AWKIF sessions. They were released in 2006 on a physical EP, never released digitally until now.

Just some metalcore screams, which apparently Josh wanted to do a lot more of the album.

 

That version is so funny to listen to. Glad they ultimately didn't go that route as a band, but it's such a time capsule of that era I can't help but find it so charming.

It's like listening to the few old Fall Out Boy cuts with screams as well.

 

Didn't I love it that way back then? (of course I did!)

i wish pete would scream again. i like paramore with screaming but they sound out of place for the most part. paramore as a post hardcore band would have been insane.

He's big enough now that he has a ton of haters, same with any artist of his size unfortunately. The biggest argument being that everything he does sounds the same, which clearly isn't true unless you get Kendrick Lamar and Clairo confused often.

It's the kind of things where is they don't like Jack produced music, it's his fault but if they do like it, it's because of the artist, not him
