They're playing a show in December in Milwaukee but it's a radio holiday show, so it'll probably be about the same set as Riot Fest (aka short) and I still have Parahoy, plus I have no one who wants to go at the moment, but I'd rather not drive to Milwaukee alone, so i'm thinking maybe I actually skip this one, but I feel like a traitor to have them be so close but not actually be going.
Best Coast was on at 7:30 and Paramore was on at 8:40 at Radio City. I imagine its similar for all the shows.
i just randomly decided to check the craigslist ticket section last night at like 7:30 and some dude posted that he couldn't go to this show and had four free tickets so i decided to trust in craigslist and hit him up and they ended up being 2nd row tickets like right in the center haha
hahahahah nice hayley is really on her performance game right now, the sound wasn't great and i'm still iffy on the setlist but damn was she having a blast
really cute/cool that she is dedicating Still Into You to various new positive things in her life after the divorce. she has a very respectable outlook on playing older material that she maybe would've handled differently with the hindsight she has today.
Was unable to score a pair of last minute tickets for the Boston show tonight. One pair on stubhub right is asking for 720 bucks and I can't rationalize that at all. Hopefully they come back at some point while touring on this record.
Came here to ask; I see the one reply but I'd like several confirmations please :) Going to the Toronto show Friday, and Toronto traffic can be a real nightmare.
do people not go to shows??? support 45 mins and then like a 15-30 minute (closer to 30 for a bigger show) break, add that up and boom, set times, lol
This, haha. My girlfriend is always like "when do you think ___ will come on?" and I guess and am usually within a few minutes. I always manage to blow her mind with my psychic abilities.
absolutely haha, any show at a more professional venue is very easy to guess, especially because set times are all contracted ahead of time too
Just got back. Best Coast at 7:30 and Paramore at 8:40. Over by 10:15. I am a casual Paramore fan. Mostly like the new album. Really impressed with their show. Very polished but sill raw. Production was top notch, especially for a smaller venue. They must make bank off merch. Everyone had on brand new shirts. Good for them! It is clear that they created a "brand". Also noticed they volunteered at a local animal shelter while in town which is awesome.
I mean...I've been to hundreds of shows but I still want to see set times ahead of the show. Guesses are guesses, but when more and more venues share the specific times these days, it is something a lot of people want to know. Support times with a single opener can vary greatly from tour to tour, I've seen lots of 25 minutes and lots of 45 minutes and everything inbetween. As for changeover times, just in the past 30 days I've waited as little as 20 minutes before the headliner and as long as 65 minutes.
and you can regularly guess the changeover time and set times based on who the bands are and the venues 75% of the time.
Going to this tomorrow night in Akron. Setlist looks pretty good, but I could do without the Scooby’s In The Back cover.
100% backed. I still wish they’d remove the two covers I saw and replace them with original songs, but honestly, both songs were jams and I was about it.
You’re right, I haven’t seen the show yet so I really can’t comment on it. I’d just prefer another Paramore song instead I guess
They were so good tonight. I really hope, mental health withstanding, that they keep touring for awhile. I remembered tonight how much I love their music.
