Love the drums and bass groove. Gang vocal chorus threw me off. It ultimately just made me feel like I was listening to a new HW solo song. Excited to hear more though. Welcome back, Paramore.
They cited Talking Heads a big influence on this record a while back right? Definitely makes sense. This is really really sick, picks up right where AL and Petals For Armor let off but doesn't feel redundant. This chorus is never going to leave my head lol every time I'm even minorly inconvenienced I just know I'm going to sing this to myself
I’ll wait for the clear variant to come out but this is a no brainer pre-order and I’m not even a huge Paramore fan either
Oh man I read this before clicking play and this hyped me so much!! And well, it's a hit folks!! On my first listen, I was the most intrigued by the short dark-ish detour the song takes before the second chorus, and the build up in the bridge. The chorus is so catchy!! Stylistically, it covers so much ground in three minutes, everyone is on point musically. Lastly, there's something about Hayley's styling that takes me back to 2007 because it brought back a thought I hadn't had in a long time ("I want to dress like her!"). Forever a fashion inspiration lol
the music video outro makes me think this might be the first Paramore album with seamless transitions. tho, Hayley’s solo stuff had outros too and didn’t have them, but man, do i want an album like that from them so bad edit: im dumb. forgot idle worship into no friend
echoing sentiments of the bass being amazing, Talking Heads vibes in the chorus, and the video being great. It's not surprising at all that Brendan Yates did it, it matches the vibe of the short film they did for the TLC EP
When her solo single came out, everyone said it sounded like Paramore, when the Paramore single comes out, people are saying it sounds like her solo stuff. I am very confused. This is so fucking good.
it sounds like paramore to me through and through. but the evolution of this band has been absolutely bonkers. very few bands really evolve and expand like they have these days. the run of albums from BNE to now is one for the ages.
It's really setting in how long this band has been a part of my life. Feels like yesterday I was waking up for middle school with the Emergency video on Fuse as the backing track. Thank you Paramore.
If you have an opinion, maybe you should shove it... Might be best to keep it to yourself. (Sorry I'm just kidding you're free to your opinion, it was just sitting right there)
I honestly never look at the news comments. I did it all the time in AP, but I just never do here. Sounds like I made the right call
