Oh man. I didn't necessarily love the song on first listen, but I definitely liked it, and the aesthetic of the video is so freaking cool. So glad they're back.
visually and musically, this is exactly the aesthetic and sonic pallette i wanted from them for this album. intrigued to hear the other 9 tracks.
This is like the perfect combo of AL and PfA, with a bit of self titled vibes towards the end. Love when the boys come in for the gang vocals. this is incredible.
Very different from what I expected and reminds me more of Petals for Armor than any of Paramore's past work. I definitely dig it.
After seeing the new video, I had a thought. And I can not explain it. Nor is there any real logic to it. And I’ll preface by saying that I am 36 and feel like I don’t look like an adult at times. So this is coming from an odd perspective. but, I feel like Hayley looks like a legit adult now. And there is nothing negative about that thought to me. She’s been an adult for like 15 years, right? I don’t really know how I qualify looking like an adult or not. I just see it or I don’t. I feel like I see it in this video for the first time. I’m very weird, I know.
I wonder what happened to Joey Howard? Him and Hayley were like best friends last time I checked haha
there used to be a user on absoultepunk with a similar username to this. wonder what happened to them
this will probably grow on me but i don't love it immediately. still looking forward to more from them.
Joey worked closely with Hayley on PFA and Flowers for Vases but both are touring members currently. Brian also played on “Watch Me While I Bloom” for Hayley.
