this song is awesome. This band is onto something special with this new album, and I am HERE FOR IT.

I’ve done a pretty good job not wearing out TIW, but it’s going to be harder not listening to these two singles since they’re the first two album tracks. February can’t get here soon enough!

 

The bridge in the news is awesome

 

Man this is great. I love how it's a distillation of so many sounds. I immediately thought of Ignorance because of the tension and the aggressive vocal delivery, but I can also hear the post-punk revival influence on the drums and the more indie/post-hardcore-ish undertones on the guitars. Stuff like this just makes me want to put it on repeat to pay more attention to each detail.

There's only one thing I am incredibly bummed about, and that's the cost of one singular hoodie. I love the band, and I am always happy to support them, but I somehow cannot justify nearly $100 for one hoodie that's not even bundled with anything.

Eh...I haven't been super into these two songs but they're both okay.

Not sure why but the vocals/vocal effects are giving me late 2000s/early 2010s....indie? vibes? I don't know I want to say Ting TIngs but I know that's not right. But something about the sound and voice inflections and vocal effects sounds familiar to my ears

 

their biggest influence is Bloc Party's Silent Alarm
