Now I've had Grow Up stuck in my head since last night

 

i've been out of the loop re: J****y for a bit, so as a reminder, he left because of a dispute over earnings and his position in the band as believing he was a part-owner of some of its assets rather than simply a paid employee, correct? because i could've sworn there was some other petty stuff going on behing the scenes (i.e. being branded as homophobic around the same time as J**h, other personal pettiness with Hayley being the face of the band, etc.). correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think i ever got a clear picture of their fallout.

Yeah, it was posted on the previous page. It's legit - it's the same audio from an airdrop paramore did to fans after their NYC show.

 

Found an acceptably priced ticket this morning on ticketmaster resale so now I'm going to tonight's show at the Tabernacle and I am very stoked about it!

 

Genuine question, why censor their names? I've never understood the point of that

 

Censoring the names makes me focus on them even more, thinking about what the word actually is

 

Someone once told me on this forum that it’s so people don’t come across it from googling the name and inadvertently triggering trauma…which, while I love what Jason has done with the place, I’m not sure a user’s comment is gonna be hitting the top 3 results anytime soon…

 

Yeah there's actually a zero percent chance someone can find that comment above by googling Josh or Jeremy, that's just not how Google works

 

Plus if you're already googling the name, how is seeing the name going to trigger trauma?

lol, i don't usually censor names or anything. no clue why i did it there other than that i just felt like it.

 

it’s usually to prevent getting found out by people that search their own name, which makes sense on twitter, but again that isn’t how google works lol

They were incredible last night in Atlanta. It is, however, criminal that only 2 tracks from the self-titled record are being played on this tour.

 

On Twitter it's to avoid insane fans or just to be like this dude sucks I don't want to acknowledge him

 

There’s also at least one name on this site that gets corrected to something else if you don’t break it up like that.

tonight in Florida of all places

 

So I have a friend that went to the show tonight, when I mentioned the gay thing he followed up with

"Towards the beginning she was talking about being away from Florida and said something along the lines of "and you can't even say gay anymore" which she shortly followed up with "we're gonna say gay so many times tonight." She would periodically say gay after songs but realized it had been several songs since she had said it which led to that. When they were done for the night and leaving the stage, she ran back out, grabbed a mic, and did it again."
