Registered for Toronto. I haven't gotten picked the last two times and I am already so anxious about it. I made my wife get a ticketmaster account and her try to register too Edit: I got an email about verified presale for Taylor Swift and people who preorderd Midnights would get priority for verified fan. I wish they would do this for Paramore too bc I instantly preordered This is Why and I feel like it is a way to weed out bots easily?
So glad there’s an Orlando date. I was worried that Hollywood would be the only FL date. Fingers crossed!
They bit them a lot too on After Laughter. Said it before but Taylor nails that style Gonna have to pick them up again soon. I fell off during the double album in 2019
I can’t believe they’re having a credit card presale BEFORE the regular verified fan presale?????? Wtf is that bullshit?? I didn’t know I had to be a bigger AMEX fan than a Paramore fan to go see their show.
I mean, I'm sure they're a great live band. the Genesis Owuso record from a year or two back was fun. Guessing this means more next year.
Riding back from a 9 hour trip with some friends and Tell Me Why comes on her(driver) playlist. The song gets to the chorus and she just skips it. I make a noise(since she knows I do like it) and she says "nope, cant do it. I like their old stuff". ME: "............well I like them both". We continued to listed to a mostly pop-punk playlist for like 3 hours. I was annoyed for a bit at her opinion and her inability/willingness/curiosity to give it more of a chance.
I can’t remember the last time I ever listened to their old stuff outside of a few songs. BNE has rendered those first two albums obsolete to me
It’s really just their first album for me, but yea. I never feel the need to listen to it. If I want Paramore, I’m likely going to BNE or AL first and Riot and S/T would get thrown in. I only listen to the first album on discography run throughs.
When I want to listen to Paramore, I only listen to the first album and After Laughter. If my wife is with me, Riot too, since that one is her favorite.
The first album just gets better and better with time for me. Some of my favourite songs they've ever done on there.
My controversial opinion of the day: I listened to BNE all the way through for the first time in a long time the other day, and while there are some obvious exceptional GOAT tracks, there's also a bunch of pretty mediocre songs on there too. I don't think I'd care for much of the middle section at all if Hayley wasn't there to sell it.
i agree. Only Exception - Where the Lines is just okay. i have a soft spot for Looking Up but that 4 song stretch is such a stark contrast to the timeless 5 before it and the 2 cult classic songs after it. the 3 after TOE feel like Riot songs with BNE’s sound, while the other songs feel like a step up for the band
