I definitely would as I liked them the least before I knew that fact nothing wrong w using co-writers I just think those songs are not good
So, what's your order of best to worst Paramore albums? Anyways, seriously though... Now is legit the only song in their catalog that I skip. I legit love every other song, but that one is just so, so bad.
Maybe I shouldn’t entertain the discourse anymore, but I’m curious on what makes the song bad. The only complaint I’ve ever seen with the song is the repetition of the chorus, but That’s What You Get’s hook does the sane and that song is beloved (by me as well). There’s both repetition and prolongated words in both songs. idk. There’s a lot more than to that song beyond it too.
BTW, I didn't jump in on the Part II talk earlier this week but JFC does this song S L A P (yes, I'm now listening through the S/T... even though it's 11:30PM and I should be sleeping by now).
the main thing I'm not that into about the song is the na ah ah ah ah ah ah ow part. don't like the melody or how often it's repeated. pre-chorus and bridge are incredible though.
That's pretty much my dislike of the track. Honestly, the rest of it isn't that bad, but I just can't get over that part of it.
Same, never got over that melody and the shoutey delivery Hayley starts the song with. I don't skip the song but it's still the one from S/T I revisit the least.
those songs rule. the co-written songs on Riot are: that's what you get when it rains we are broken fences
"that's what you get" only is credited to farro, williams, and york same with "when it rains" "born for this" is credited to williams and farro i'm talking about only these two that have an outside co-write from David Bendeth:
