Can confirm, I think I screamed "this is history" once I realized what was happening.

 

I keep seeing videos and tweets about Hayley doing the crip walk during concerts it’s cracking me up.

 

Never thought in a million years they'd play All I Wanted live, but JESUS they killed that.


No one should have the power that Hayley has.

 

Hayley makes jokes about not looking good and just dancing for fun but she under sells herself cause she's a legit good dancer imo. She has a good sense of rythym! And those videos are killing me too. Tbh I love seeing tiktoks from black users feeling like Paramore is down and they feel accepted and identify with the band. I imagine the scene didn't rly historically foster that sense of belonging just given how white it is and its awesome to see people feel especially included with Paramore.

 

That moment in "All I Wanted" has always given me chills, and still does to this day. Crazy that she can pull it off live. Just a total force.

 

Stoked they played it! Absolutely cannot see her doing that for an entire tour cycle- but wow what a surprise for this show

im newer to the paramore fandom (jumped on during the Hard Times era) and im stunned to learn they never have played All I wanted

 

what's the background behind not playing the song, was there a reason?

 

I believe Hayley has said in the past that she was worried she wouldn't be able to pull it off live, but I could be wrong about that.

 

She said it’s the most challenging song for her to sing, trying to do it every night on tour would be brutal for her. Glad they at least busted it out for a show.

 

Yeah, it's just hard enough for her to sing once on its own, let own multiple times a week. They probably won't add it in to their normal tour setlist.

 

Holy cow I got chills multiple times while watching that. Seems like one of those performances people will be talking about for years. You could tell she was definitely focusing more on really nailing the notes and staying more still than she usually does. Incredible to watch.

finally got around to watching that All I Wanted live performance.... holy shit!!! did she seriously just take her hardest vocal part and hit an even higher note??? that was absolutely unreal!

 

Bagged tickets in the UK presale! Didn't get standing as we had hoped but I'm not gonna complain. That queue was so stressful...

i never got into paramore back in the day, so i'm doing a discog run now. all we know is falling was pretty good 2005 pop punk. riot! is blowing it out of the water, though. hooks for days.
