So happy for them, but also so annoyed at how many references I’ve seen implying this is their first Grammy win. Ain’t It Fun won for best rock song
Apparently it's a technicality and it didn't count as an all-band win for Paramore since it was only Hayley and Taylor. This is their Grammy page right now:
This record was a great one to highlight and give accolades IMO. Self Titled was a huge win/jolt of life into the band, After Laughter was a cool reconnecting of the main members, and this one felt like a strong and clear vision at this point in their career. They have established themselves as a band that remains culturally relevant without pandering to nostalgia or whatever sound is most charting in a way other bands that came up around the same time have done. Hyped for them. Well deserved.
Based on that post alone, my buddy is convinced they’re either breaking up, or they’re moving forward with a new band name. Hahaha
So… this guy is a pretty connected photographer from Birmingham now in Washington. Pretty sure he knows the band personally. This could just be a drop of new photos.. or something else. Do with that what you will.
Oh yeah, Ryan did all of the photos for the BNE promo and went on tour with them that cycle. Maybe he just posted a tad too early?
Oh he just reuploaded saying it is prints, I guess he didn’t think about how that might be taken with Paramore’s odd behavior in the last couple months.
