Really love the song, took 3 listens for me to get there tho.

 

They're really not that weird.

Anthony Green's solo stuff doesn't sound like Circa Survive or Saosin or any of his other projects. PFA definitely does sound like this song, and I'd argue more than AL.

It's not a criticism, just a simple observation that is pretty natural really!

 

I don’t think this song fits with the vibe of PfA at all

 

It’s like 15 seconds of “I wanna go surfing” followed by 40 seconds of “babe help me find my extra long cigarette holder” followed by 15 seconds of “I hope I die dancing to this song” and then about 2:15 of those three feelings combined

Love that they keep taking chances and exploring different sounds. This chorus is unbelievably catchy. Give us the Blink, Paramore, Turnstile tour we don't deserve.

 

it’s so impressive how they continue to evolve and find fresh new directions while still very much being recognizably Paramore.

 

there was already a rumor of a blink/turnstile tour so now we need blink/paramore/turnstile, pop disaster 2k23

Agreed, that was the one concert cancellation that stung. Especially as Hayley was performing in Seattle and they have consistently skipped the PNW for nearly a decade.
