That’s awesome they are motivated to keep making music. Will be interesting to see what happens since they will be done with their Atlantic contract.
Has anyone else noticed that they always open with a non-single off their new album and end with the big hit off of it? At least they have every time I saw them (Grow Up/Still Into You, Pool/Hard Times, upcoming You First/This Is Why) Kinda a cool pattern
I remain sad Hayley didn't get to tour her solo albums but if this means the next Paramore album won't take as long as this one did, I'm ready.
Coincidentally those three opening songs all make strong cases for being the best on their respective albums
Not sure what is was this time, but the latest listen of this one made it finally click for me.. which is good, I didn't enjoy being so down on a Paramore album!
Never been to Boston Calling, and heading in solo. Heightens my anxiety lol. Planning to get there around 2/3, but no plans to watch any bands until bleachers. Will head to Maren morris after, then maybe grab a beer and just wait for Paramore from there.
It's a pretty chill festival. Cell service is notoriously terrible. Last year I was still able to get close to the stage for the headliners, just as they were starting, but I've heard it's been pretty packed this year. Good luck!
Did a little sneaking and got in the VIP section at Boston Calling last night with my wife and brother, so we were able to get to the barricade for the set. It was my second time seeing them live, but they absolutely crushed this one. One of the best performances I’ve seen.
Friend called me to let me know she had an extra VIP pass yesterday, so I got to be in those sections for the day. Very appreciative! Was in the Jack Daniels area for most of their set, but was able to get about 5-10 rows back for a few songs when I needed to vibe, haha
