to the point of your earlier post: the comments about this being too similar to her solo work is weird. Paramore has never fit into one box - their sound has evolved and ranges from pop-punk to alt rock to new wave to whatever so I'm not surprised that this song sounds different from anything in the past because that's Paramore - they are always evolving. for fucks sake the self-titled two biggest songs can easily cite Paula Abdul and gospel while the lead single was like fucking post-apocalyptic punk shit. weird posts man
Anytime the front person of a big band has a side project or solo work, the slightest change in sound from either gets a comparison note to the other, regardless of similarity. Happens all the time.
last three albums all debuted in the top 10 (Brand New Eyes #2 Paramore #1 After Laughter #6) - depending on what also releases on the 10th this could be their second #1 debut.
I definitely agree. I can’t believe Conspiracy was her first song. She has grown so much since then but the fact she was able to write that song as her first is still insane to me
This is just ok for me, definitely not where I was hoping they'd go. Still glad to have them back and looking forward to the album!
This single for sure feels more like PFA than AL, in my opinion! Isn't a negative, of course. Loved PFA.
if you were to look at an x-ray of taylor's body you'd clearly see nile rodgers face in his chest cavity.
