This isn't really my thing. I enjoyed bits and pieces here and there. Fake Happy was probably my favorite. No Friend is very odd.
weird no idea how i misheard that but i guess i was half-paying attention to the interview. can't imagine "caught in the middle" any other way
Ya it's one of my favorites on the album, but I'm still curious what the original version sounded like.
Honestly surprised how mixed of a reception this is getting on here, I think it's absolutely brilliant
yea I agree with jason its mostly positive and even when people critique it, it is usually followed with I really enjoyed the album as a whole. I think that all of the positive remarks make the negative ones stick out a bit more.
Haha. They seriously hate everything, including games. I don't even know why I frequent there anymore.
After all the Gamergate/Ghostbuster's stuff, as a whole, I don't really care about their collective opinion at all. Haha. (Not that I did much to begin with.)
Oh man I play games too whatever shall I do Been listening through the album straight for hours now, man.
Yeah, I've given it a couple listens. It's not terrible but also not blowing me away at all. I think the first 6 tracks would make a pretty good EP, but honestly after that...I start to get sick of the "vibe" of this album. The other albums I feel like experimented much more between individual tracks(ex. look at the difference between something like "Aint it fun" and "Future"). My favorite album by them is Brand New Eyes....with Self-titled as second best for me. This album is alright, but ultimately fairly forgettable for me.
Dang I would've loved to hear that -- the island/reggae-ish guitar work and drums on this song probably make it my list favorite track (all based on one listen of the album, hopefully my mind will change).
