I really think this will end up being a career-defining album for them. There are probably 4 or 5 songs on here that could be huge singles.
still working my way through my full feelings on this but this is pretty easily their most carefully crafted record, they very obviously put a ton of work into this
definitely not a bad thing by any means. record is really cool. dont think ive liked one of theirs this much since riot.
Yeah, not big on "26". Not a fan of most acoustic songs being placed in the middle of albums, but especially not when the rest is as fun as this.
Yeah, saw that and try to think of it that way when it comes on but hard to do when you're not actually playing an LP and it just plays right through.
Caught in the Middle and NFG's The Sound of Two Voices live in this fun plain of pop punk/ex pop punk bands playing island jams.
I'm pretty sure Aaron Weiss is the best lyricist I've ever heard and this is just another great example.
I don't have much interest in seeing Paramore, but the lineups have been solid so far. Mayyyyybe. This album isn't all that engaging to me.
Never have I initallly liked a Paramore record as much as this one. I appreciate how cohesive it is and sonically it's right up my alley. Gonna go listen some more.
Someone mentioned it before I think but Hayley almost yelling the lyrics in Idle Worship is super underrated And yea I'm getting into this album more and more, and I already loved it. So good.
