RTMorasonMD my hero for like 10 years. Fitting bc yesterday was the anniversary of one of my fave paramore shows WHICH HE FILMED
That's a fantastic plan! I'm do frikkin tired today, though, the idea of staying up until 11pm is terrifying. My plan for today is to listen to wean me off of Mew and prep me for Paramore by listening to No More Stories, then s/t. Or I guess I could go FULL-'09-mode and listen to No More Stores, then Brand New Eyes (for the first time since, eek, probably 2010?). Don't hate me
yessss! i still make mix CDs to listen to in my car. since i got a car with an aux port, it's a little less often than before, but still... i'm burning CDs on the regz still. i burned this new Paramore CD yesterday to listen to in my car. i don't use iTunes at all and i don't have any music on my phone, so if it's not on Spotify, I turn it to a CD. CDs also help keep me from going over my data limit on my phone. the fact that lots of laptops don't have CD drives anymore stresses me the fuck out!
This girl from Norway I'm seeing, she's 22, and doesn't have any music on her computer/doesn't buy music; she only listens to music via Spotify, and has a million playlists for all kinds of moods/genres. And since she doesn't do CD's, she's only known in her car playing music via Bluetooth The times are a changin'
This is exactly me too, haha. Two days ago I made two mix CD's of 80's jams for the girl mentioned in my above post, haha(she's renting a car on vacation in California in October, so wants CD's to jam to). Every album I buy, I buy on CD, and then if it's not being sold on CD (some smaller artists have done this), I buy the digital copy, and then burn that to CD. My car is full of CD's right now
this is me, except i buy vinyl if i REALLY like the album. i cant remember the last time i bought a CD. also: you know you can import your own songs into spotify right? i did that with Pinegrove's Elsewhere recently.
yeah, check this out. ive found you have to add each folder that contains music files, not a parent folder that has multiple folders underneath. thats kind of a pain, but since i really dont do it often it isnt a big deal. hit me up if you hit a snag.
YO SAME. i listened to my sacrifice on repeat for days before i decided to listen to another track off of it.
I have to spend some more time with this, but I wish they didn't release Hard Times first. While I really enjoy the album on my first few listens, I feel that nothing else on here comes close to touching that song.
Listening to lots of Paramore today since I still haven't listened to the leak (I'll probably listen when it hits Apple Music tonight). This band is going to age really well. I'm so curious to see how they'll be looked back on in 10, 20, 30 years. I think it will be overwhelmingly positive.
