After Laughter is an all timer for me at this point.

My babies I miss them. They deserve a break I just hope it's not for too long.

 

I just wish they had toured the PNW even once before calling it quits on the AL era! Probably my favourite album of all time and whenever they play here next it will be promoting something else.

 

Is there any chance that we get a new album this year or is this a complete break from music?

 

I doubt it but I have nothing to back that up.

 

I’m willing to bet they’ll start writing and demo-ing later this year but it’s unlikely we’ll get a new album until next spring or summer.

 

Yea I’m optimistic we will get a quicker turnaround this time since the band seems in a good spot and there’s no turnover this time. And since Zac wasn’t around for the whole writing process of AL (right?) hopefully the creative juices will be flowin!

 

Apparently, Hard Times is featured in Happy Death Day 2U, in theaters today.

Haley’s appearance on American Footballs new album led me to check this out and I kinda of hate myself for sleeping on it when it came out.

After Laughter is one of my favorite albums to come out in recent years. EDIT: ever

It also came out during my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, and I saw them live shortly after I completed it.

So, associating it with the best thing I’ve done in my life thus far definitely helps up its status for me haha.
