The Saga Continues: This friend is a huge Foster the People fan, so she'll definitely be going with to this. Imagine what a fan she'll be after seeing Paramore live for the first time!
If anyone is heading to the NH show (assuming we all get tickets) we should try and do a Chorus hang! I'll definitely be flying solo.
it's not that much cheaper than single day BC tickets (my show is 85 for pit tickets before fees) and you get a significantly better lineup
True. I just really love After Laughter, and very much want to see paramore headline. They played Boston on my wedding last October, and while my husband said I should've gone after the vows, I clearly couldn't make it, haha.
Signed up for the presale, although I doubt I'll go for it unless I can get really great seats. This now makes 4 shows I *MUST* go to announced in the last 24 hours. The world wants me to empty my bank account.
The LA date is a 17,000 capacity venue, compared to 6,000 capacity when they were just here. Seems a bit aggressive of a change!
I think the Chicago venue is like a weird thing where it can either be 8,000 or so, or it can be 30,000. But I'm pretty sure that they're doing the 8,000 one, so I think it'll probably sell out pretty quick actually.
Yeahhhh DTE holds 15,000 versus the Fox, where they played last time, which holds about 5,000. Now, they did sell out the Fox, but that’s definitely a huge jump. FTP should help, though, and I’m sure at least the pavilions at most of these venues will sell out.
That's basically where quite a few of bands are now, too big for theaters, too small for arenas. It makes the most sense to sell more tickets in those cases, however.
This is such an odd album cycle because it hasn't been huge in the typical sense of the word, but honestly I see them pop up everywhere. Like today I see videos of them playing Steph Curry's birthday party, as well as videos from a concert of broadway performers covering their songs? They've really Carly-Rae-Jepsen-ized themselves here in terms of their public image.
The new Fickle Friends album is out today. If you liked After Laughter, I highly recommend it. Good shit.
Did they change labels? This album should've been their biggest yet, considering how big the singles on the last one was and how good the music is here.
