partial clip of the new version of "Grow Up" - it looks like she added some lyrics from "20 Something" by SZA in the bridge.
under 90 days!!!!! all i'm hoping for is that they'll play literally any other ballad on parahoy besides HTSYHB. edit: also @ all going on parahoy can we pls plan a chorus meetup either before we board or on board or something
Haha well they're doing that mini acoustic set right? I'm sure they'll play HTSYHB at some point cus they really seem to love that one, but I'm sure they'll do more. I also feel pretty comfortable that they'll play all of After Laughter, either in full, or half of it each night. And I'm definitely on board (hahahah) for a Chorus meetup. It's getting so close now I can't believe it.
I know. I still have to book a flight and a hotel. Waiting on that sweet, sweet tax return money and then I officially don't have to be worried about this anymore haha. I'm really, really hoping for some interesting deep cuts. Specifically, Hello Cold World and Stop This Song.
Yes luckily my flight is booked, but I'm leaving the day after Parahoy for a wedding in St Lucia so it was very stressful planning everything to work together. Once you get that though, there's nothing left to do but be excited so you're close! Yea I'm sure there will be some surprises! I need to study up on some of their really really deep cuts (I don't know Stop This Song) so that I'm ready for anything. Hello Cold Wold would be awesome though!
This is such a fantastic album. I keep coming back to it and each time I am taken away by how greatly personal and relateable it is. It's so sincere and of course JMJ's production is flawless and one-of-a-kind.
Yeah, narrowly kicked Menzingers out of my top spot when it was released, and it stayed that way all year. Hell of an album.
I am glad they put this on their Best Of list. Otherwise, I would have never listened to it and now I can't stop. Its been addicting.
My boyfriend saw them at Manchester Arena last night. He said it was wonderful and 26 (unplanned) live was so special - especially with Hayley's speech about mental health beforehand and a song primarily about hope in the venue where tragedy struck last year. They're incredible
I never posted after I saw them in December but they were the best and I can't believe I waited 10 years before I saw them again. V salty that the didn't play Pool and Idle Worship on tour 2 but added them to tour 3 though lol
I think we can all agree that whoever decides who gets selected for these nominations is seriously out of touch with the genre as a whole.
This person at Rolling Stone didn't do their research. After Laughter was submitted in the Pop categories, not Rock.
It is much more of a pop record than rock, but on the other hand the line between those genres is getting pretty blurred
