Y'all don't want to know how I reacted when I found out Now, Now is going to be on that ship. Catch me front row and center, singing along to their whole set.
I get to see them tonight and I'm dying over here. And I thought they'd only play an hour but they're scheduled a full hour and a half! (and also Dashboard Confessional will be there which is fun)
I had a nightmare another hurricane was coming toward Florida, delaying the Miami show again. It was pretty bad. Now I'm really excited for Wednesday.
It was the same set as Tour Two but I was so happy to see the full set since Riot Fest was only like 13 songs or something. It was great seeing 26 and I Caught Myself, and both the cover songs were so fun. Loved watching Zac get up front and things getting weird for a little bit. It was so great. They're truly unreal to see
The band have been mashing up Hard Times with Blondie's Heart of Glass and Rose Colored Boy with Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance with Somebody and omg, I'm all for it, it fits so well. (The videos are set to start at the moments I'm talking about.)
that set is so siiiiick I have got to catch them live next time they come to town. I'm such an idiot for missing their show last summer.
don't know if it's still up but got an email a few hours ago saying there's more copies of the teal variant on their webstore if folks were still trying to snag that!
I feel like with todays world and social media.. everyone puts on fb how happy and great their lives are and it doesn't always tell the whole story. I know thats not what the song is about but I find it relatable
I think that's exactly what the song is about. Granted it's presented through the lens of being out for the night and trying to pretend you're happy. But I think especially with the line "I bet everyone here is fake happy too" it's meant as a broader commentary - people are so afraid to admit to other people that things aren't really going how they want, but everyone feels this way to varying degrees. I always picture the song in a club setting, which I think is meant as a representation of society.
Going to see them tomorrow for the rescheduled Orlando show. I'm so excited because I haven't seen them since 2010 on the Honda Civic Tour lol. I was originally a little worried because my exams started this week but it worked out great because I just have one tomorrow morning and then nothing on Wednesday.
According the Spotify year end review thing, Paramore was my most listened to artist in 2017. I was not expecting that, but it works for me.
This finished at 5 for me but damn it’s an incredible album that I’ll be coming back to time and time again
The irony of me having tickets to both bands, on the same night, in LA, in different venues is not beyond me... haha
