Her complete blunt honesty about depression and panic attacks means a lot to me. I hope therapy is still helping her. Really interesting read

 

I ask if the tweet she sent out — about just enjoying the damn music — was due to frustration about the interview, and she says no, that it was actually a response to fans relentlessly sending her tallies of the album’s first-week sales figures. She says she’s so sick of the commercial aspect of the music industry that before After Laughter came out, she even tried to renegotiate her contract with Atlantic — the one she signed as a teenager — so she would have less albums that she was obligated to deliver.

 

That article was amazing. I have loved her for 12 years, but my respect and admiration for Hayley continues to grow and grow.

 

that fader profile is excellent. one of the best pieces of music writing i've read since the 1975 mtv cover story.

 

The transparency of that fader article is very refreshing on both Hayley and the interviewer's parts. Excellent piece.

 

I just wanted to comment on Hayley's Instagram post..can you even believe she is a human being here on earth? She is like an angel. It's crazy to see famous people not shoved up their own ass lol Taylor and Zac are the same way.

 

Not to nitpick a really kind comment, but I think the whole of After Laughter is pretty much a testament to the fact that she's just a human being.

 

She is such a strong and inspiring person. I hope they are able to have peace in regards to this.

 

heartbreaking, but hopefully it'll be for the best. we shouldn't really look too deep into it and turn into a huge mess cause i'm sure that's the last thing they'd want. wonder who keeps Alf though

I'm sad and happy for Hayley- it takes a lot of strength to know when to leave a deeply committed relationship, and I have no doubt that it's what's best for both of them. Sending all the posi vibes her way.

 

Lyrical content on the record makes a bit more sense. Wish both of them the best
