The slow songs on this album .....just not for me. I've heard better from this better band. I hate to see your heart break is still the king
Yeah usually they're among my favourites but I kinds get bored of these two. When It Rains is still my number 1.
26 and No Friends are the only tracks I skip. The rest of the album as a whole is equally favorited for me.
I realized there's not a single Paramore ballad I don't really like, but I'd probably rank em this way: 10. In the Mourning 9. The Only Exception 8. We Are Broken 7. Hate to See Your Heart Break 6. Forgiveness 5. When It Rains 4. Tell Me How 3. Misguided Ghosts 2. Last Hope 1. 26 I just really, really love 26.
My ranking would be quite different but what a great idea. 1-5 and 6-9 could all change by the hour. 1. Tell me how 2. In the mourning 3. Last hope 4. Misguided ghosts 5. The only exception 6. 26 7. When it rains 8. We are broken 9. Forgiveness 10. Hate to see your heart break
I've woke up every day this week with a different song stuck in my head. Today was Caught in the Middle. Love Decode.
I listened to it 4 times on a 6 hour car ride yesterday. Still don't really like caught in the middle.
love caught in the middle. only one I'm not so keen on is grudges. I find the way she works the word grudges into the chorus awkward
I didn't like the first single they put out at first. But the whole album has really grown on me. I'm enjoying this a lot. Tell Me How is definitely my favorite as of now.
I found Caught in the Middle to be a bit much after a few repeats. I've gone back to liking it a lot. I think it's just a bit grating on the ears after a little bit. She hits the word "middle" in kind of a shrill way on the second repeat of the line.
It's strange to me now thinking about the days as a teen when I used Napster and Limewire, and would only ever care to download singles. When I got to about 18 I began downloading full album zip files (sue me) and began looking more towards hearing the meat of an album and a full release rather than ever replay the same 5 or 6 songs from all my favorite bands. Crazy to think some of my all time favorite albums I only ever had a handful of songs off of for YEARS before I wised up.
Whoa, blast from the past haha Limewire conditioned me to only listen to singles. Just recently I started listening to whole albums.
This album is helping me so much with my mental health issues, be it dysmorphy, dysphory, depression, social phobia, self-doubt, everything really. Hayley's words may seem straightforward or cliché (that whole conversation the other day was weird but whatever), but she gets her points across in a simple way and it is what matters the most afterall. For such a depressing record, it is making me so much happier and making me look forward to my future with less stress.
Suuuuper late for the ranking party, but here goes nothing: 1: Careful 2: Decode 3: Brick by Boring Brick 4: Stop this Song 5: Part II 6: Misery Business 7: All I wanted 8: Pressure 10: Born For This
