I'm assuming it's you because it's the same username as Chorus. It was on the Here We Go Again video where you called out all of the assholes for their comments on Paramore's ATDI cover. The comments on that video have always been crap; I've thought about turning them off altogether but meh.
I'm looking at my wallet right now after buying the Zac's back tshirt, a presale bundle, Tour Two tickets, the limited edition tshirt, and now Parahoy on the horizon...and I am thinking Paramore are doing just fine this album cycle. xD
I'm genuinely curious how much money they make on Parahoy, because I'm sure the cruise line takes a significant portion. I'd be curious to see how the profit breaks down between band(s)/cruise line, because really the worst case for the band is they get a free vacation. (This doesn't change your point at all. This album cycle - at least the first part - is definitely aimed more at fans than radio push it seems, which is a smart move.)
You make a great point. I am really not sure, but because of their rabid fanbase + established cred I think they'll be just fine. They are taking the media opportunities they want, on the timeline they choose - which is healthy. I'm happy for them. This is their album and it's nice that they're being given the opportunity to kind of work around it in the way they want.
Shirt looks awesome! Now I am a little bummed I didn't get it! Ps. Just started following you on insta
Haha yep that was me, it felt good to write that. Unfortunately I'm sure if they started covering ATDI again in 2017, they'd still get the same overly misogynistic comments... Also, I followed you as well, it's so cool to have Paramore back and its fans all excited about the new album ! I'd love to get a tshirt or something similar at some point.
Apparently there's a 2 ticket limit for buying tickets when they go on sale tomorrow? They out out a statement on their Facebook page about it. It's kind of Confusing, the way they worded seemed like it was for people that's were buying them in person at a venue box-office
I bought tickets to the Iowa State Fair show because I was afraid they weren't going to properly tour here till winter and I'm just like whyyyy am I so impulsive about this band??? haha. Gonna make it all work somehow tho.
This whole time during Told You So the lyrics are: Say they say they told me Say they say they told me You say, you say you told me I've been singing Sock it, sock it, to me Eek.
Did everyone see their recent Facebook post? "Paramore, Live Nation and Ticketmaster continue to try to ensure that tickets for our shows are both affordable and available to fans, not scalpers. To that end, there will be a very limited amount of tickets available to each show on Tour Two this Wednesday at 10am at venue box offices*. There will be a 2 ticket limit, cash or credit cards will be accepted. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. * tickets for the Sioux City, IA show will be available at the Tyson Event Center, tickets for the Denver, CO show will be available at the Fillmore Auditorium and tickets for the Toronto show will be available at the Roy Thompson Hall"
What is Rose Colored Boy about? It just seems like a bunch of random lyrics loosely strung together by some rebellion type theme. Song does get stuck in your head like crazy. Like the "I want you to stop insisting that I'm not a lost cause, because I've been through a lot" lyric. It doesn't even fit!
The money I would pay to hear Paramore do an entire album in the style of No Friend. the instrumentation is so sick. They stay in a great groove the entire time while still managing to make it interesting. Also the bass line rips.
it doesn't? song's about being depressed and in a relationship where the other person is super not depressed and is always encouraging the depressed person to get over it etc.
What's the "low key, no pressure just hang with me and my weather" line all about? Isn't that contradictory? But I guess that makes sense as far as the topic.
