They could have done an online lottery with a one ticket purchase limit and all tickets had to be picked up at will call with an ID. I feel really bad for the people who are traveling in from other cities (I saw Buffalo, Pittsburgh, IOWA, etc) say they were going to make the drive down.
There really isn't one great way to manage something like this anymore. Social media makes things like this spread like wildfire, and social media "FOMO" makes everyone feel they HAVE to be there, and they HAVE to be first, and they HAVE to be front row barricade for it.
I really hope whoever is engineering this record does a better job than the last one. The last album sounded washed out as fuck.
Shitshow confirmed. Someone on twitter is reporting there are over 700 people there. Not sure how you'd actually quantify that but...
Someone from the venue needs to do a head count and cut the line off so people aren't waiting any longer than they have to. It's the humane thing to do.
I've heard they already started doing wristbands so can't imagine it'll be that much longer til the rest start to leave.
If you're only standing outside for 10-15 minutes, then yeah, it's not that cold. But if you're standing in 33-degree weather for 6 to 7 hours, it'll get pretty cold. Hell, we went to the St. Patty's Day parade in Cleveland on Saturday and it was high 30s and sunny, the first 15 minutes were great, then all of a sudden, we couldn't feel anything. Maybe I'm a wuss.
It's chilly but I'm only wearing a t shirt and a jean jacket so I'm not like super prepared or anything. I'm also definitely not gonna get in but hey I tried
Good on them to not make people wait for 4 hours to tell them they can't get in and for the people who drove/were planning on driving down there.
"For everyone else #PrayForTheWicked 3:21" WHY TWO MORE DAYS WHY HE HAS TO KNOW THAT HORRIBLE CELL PHONE VIDEOS OF THE NEW SONG WILL BE UP BY TONIGHT IF THEY PLAY IT AT THE SHOW WAHHHHH
Still, I assume he's going to play it tonight considering the way this show was promoted. I know I sure as hell wouldn't want the first impression 99.999999% of people have of my new single to be from a bad-quality cell phone video shot at a show two days before the official release.
