    Unrelated but I would argue this record holds up a fair amount, especially compared to a lot of The Maine’s contemporaries. Not as good as their later stuff obviously but I still enjoy a lot of it.

    I agree. Revisited this record not too long ago, and it definitely holds up. Not their best, but it's still pretty good.

    Man, this thread blew up. Great way to spend my study break, catching up on the drama.

    Gotta say though, I had no idea it was a controversial opinion to believe that bands collaborated/borrowed ideas/emulated styles, and that that wasn't in itself a bad thing.

    i actually went through a similar thing with an ex gf and that was rough so i cant imagine how tough it must be for you. thats good though, it can be good therapy.
