I see you’re putting that Dictionary app to good use. Proud of you.

  2. And I said ... people said the same thing about Panic! at the Disco back in the day. They did. Thanks for recapping something I was well aware of ... I know the series of events.

I dunno, why are you still responding if you don't care? I don't care that people think Pale Waves sounds like the 1975 because I like that kinda music — which is what I already said to you. I didn't care that people thought Panic! sounded like FOB either because ... newsflash: I LIKED THAT KINDA MUSIC!

I don't think you know how music works if you for whatever reason don't think bands copy each other and work together.

  3. Let's recap:

"Pale Waves sound like a ripoff of The 1975."

"People once said the same thing about Panic and FOB, people like that kinda music."

    "NO THEY DIDN'T!!@!!!!!alskxjlkzuIjl23kjasklaskldjs8xzXL"

Yeah I’m done with these types of posts. Typical chorus forum bullshit and you treating people like they’re dumb and don’t know what they’re talking about because you disagree with their opinions. How do you get through life feeling so self-assured?

Who enjoys bands that copy other bands blatantly? Not just sound similar, literally do the same stuff and put out the exact same music? Not I.

  5. I can't believe someone is actually making the argument that no one criticized Panic for sounding like Fall Out Boy ... in a thread ... where it happened ... yesterday.

Oh my god again with your overdramatic, untactful iterations of what I said. You’re unreal.

  7. You get treated like you're dumb and don't know what you're talking about because your posts show you don't know what you're talking about. That's not an opinion to disagree with — it's a fact.

Well, you like Panic! at the Disco. So yeah, you do. Heyyyyyyyyooooooo.

  8. I was making you sound more reasonable.

Nah, that’s your take. Still trying to say I denied that anyone ever compared them. That’s your own warped version of how this conversation played out.

Shit I'm almost out of popcorn brb

  11. So, this was a lie I'm taking it ...?

Well, I mean now you've changed to "it wasn't a universal opinion", it started with:

Will you admit you're wrong now?

“I like the kind of music that is uninspired and derived from another band to a faulty level. It’s okay and more tasteful if the band they’re ripping off had something to do with it.”

    Said no one ever.

Oh thank you! Trying to take what I CLEARLY said out of context. “I don’t recall” and “it didn’t happen” are two vastly different statements you nimrod.

Before that post, I had asked you for examples of when anyone compared their sound to be as similar as what I think of Pale Waves to The 1975. I was given an article about how their vocalist sounded similar, yet didn’t sing similar and had very different sounding bands behind them. Who are you kidding?

  16. Maybe you’re getting treated like you’re dumb because you are dumb. Maybe.

    Nope. Try again.

  18. Why do you need this spelled out to you? This is so fucking basic:

If people like a type of music, they don't think the music sounds "uninspired" or "derived to a faulty level" ... they like the music. So, you may think Pale Waves sounds like The 1975 and is a total rip off, but you're being exactly like the people that made this exact comment about Panic! in 2005. You just liked the music Panic was making so you don't care. Awesome. Now, apply the same logic: People like Pale Waves because they make music they like inspired and influenced by a band they love. This is fucking music 101 here and it is mind-numbing that it has to be typed out.

  19. Oh okay maybe you’re getting treated like you’re dumb because everyone else is dumb?

    beachdude42 and Anthony_ like this.
  20. That's why I commented on your ignorance of it not happening didn't mean it didn't, and brought the comment in here. Why do you keep just reiterating things I know happened? It's ... weird. And I may be a nimrod, but you look like you just got back from a Richard Spencer clan rally. In his hand-me-down clothes. So, I think I win that one.

And I told you to use fucking Google like a normal person and you whined about it, so I said here's some other people that maybe help and you lost your shit.

It’s not music 101 when I don’t think A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out sounds like Fall Out Boy, nor do I ever enjoy when bands blatantly copy another.

You wanna defend that type of music making and enjoy those bands? That’s on you. Don’t get degrading and have your users try to bully posters who don’t like the same stuff as you. You initiated the conversation to begin with, and started talking down to me when I didn’t relinquish my opinion immediately as you always do with every user that you dislike.

Don’t think or call anyone dumb for having a difference of opinion. I think plenty of users should try thinking for themselves on here though.
