Fever was a big record for me growing up. Would have been wild to see those songs live. It’s odd he played sins again and brought Spencer out. Why not have him rip the album and have the other guy come out? I’m also a pretty odd Stan. It’s a bummer 9 in the afternoon is the only song that gets love. Ryan not making an appearance is a bummer. If you’re going to celebrate that album he was instrumental. I think anything related to the first two records he deserves his flowers.

Because Spencer has moved on from drumming and it felt like a big finale this way. We also need to give Ryan a rest. He doesn’t want anything to do with this.

Idk felt a little self indulgent to me. I’ve seen Brendan in this iteration of panic and it’s undeniable how strong of a musician / showman he is and how impressive it is that he had such a strong career after the original lineup parted ways. Seeing Fred with TBS, Tom coming back to blink, I just think the impact is pretty special when bands make amends and celebrate the thing they made. Particularly if it’s for a one off special thing.

It's not exactly a 1:1 but wishing Ryan Ross would come back to Panic At The Disco is like wishing Kevin Cadogen would back to Third Eye Blind. Both were definite secret weapons obviously but in terms of branding, most of people who go see both bands have no idea/don't really care. PATD in particular saw significantly MORE commercial success in the 2010s when Brendon was heading the ship so just don't see why it'd be necessary.

Panic was so big before their first breakup, I feel like a “reunion” tour would be bigger then a “fever” tour. Towards the end, the only fever song they would play was sins.

I remember seeing PATD live for the first time in 2009 on blinks first reunion tour... I was so stoked but they announced Ryan and John had left and I remember still being impressed with how good of a performance Brendon and company put on.. but I knew it was the Brendon Urie show from then on out. I liked Live in Denver because they dropped the tuning, Brendon sounded great live and Ryan was the counter balance backup/guitarist singer that made it feel whole.
