Really hope they see how MCR has been milking The Black Parade and they bring this to more than just WWWY
I mean - outside of Sins, Brendan’s last three album tours were arena tours where he didn’t even play anything off Fever. I know this site seems to favor this album over the rest, but the truth is most of his commercial/touring success happened in the 2010s and beyond.
Would be cool if they got Ryan, Jon, and Spencer to do a anniversary tour but that’s never happening lol
One of the best shows I’ve ever been to was academy is, panic, acceptance, and hellogoodbye. It was just as panic was blowing up. They should just run that back. I’d throw up if I saw that run again. 20+ years later.
i adore that record but still think all of the demos are better than the final versions. i love how raw it all sounds.
I think there is a zero percent chance WWWY is it. There's soooo much money and demand out there for stuff like this, he can't possibly end it all with a whimper like "Viva las Vengeance." MCR is bigger than ever, Yellowcard is bigger than ever, Fall Out Boy are doing stadiums, I'd bet money that a full FOB/Panic stadium tour is not out of the question.
It's cool if they give Fever a reissue but I don't think there is much bonus content (if any) to really add to it.
I’m sure he will bring it back in some capacity. It would be shocking if there was one single performance and that’s it. I don’t put too much stock in bands breaking up or going on hiatus these days. Particularly from the 2010’s. I’m sure he’s enjoyed time off as he had his kid but I’ve seen this play out about 100 times. The nostalgia sets, anniversary tours, and reunions aren’t going anywhere and there’s boatloads of money to be made. I doubt it would happen but I’d be most excited to see an anniversary tour playing songs from the first two records with the lineup from the early days and that group doing some songs together. Unlikely, but if Fred is playing in TBS, and blink is bigger than every with a killer comeback album stranger things have happened.
Live in Denver is the best. You get to actually hear Ryan doing backup vocals and because its half a step down or so, Ryan and Brendan are actually nailing the vocals together. Plus Tonight, Tonight and Karma Police covers...
a reunion would also give me the slightest bit of hope that the vices and virtues b-sides end up on streaming. i can dream.
We got two of them last month (Turn Off the Lights and I Wanna Be Free). Hopefully the rest come eventually.
