She goes over all the songs and puts together a thread of it being a loose concept record about a character (Brendon) being burnt out with fame and questioning whether to keep going or not. Everything she pointed out made me believe Brendon intentionally put this album out as his finale without stating the obvious. It was a love letter to his fans and that it was time for him to move on. “Do It to Death” really hit me hard with the lyric “Take me to the limit; nothing lasts forever, but I’ll give it a try” and then ending with “Shut up and go to bed”. Just watching that music video made me go, “Fuck…he knew this would be the last Panic album.” There’s a surprising amount of things to dissect when looking at the album closely.
Ah I see. Yeah she must be a diehard Panic fan lol. I respect it, even though I wouldn't do something like that
I think it's fine to do a deep dive into one of your favorite band's albums lol. It is absolutely a hobby. It's their time to do with what they please. If you're not interested that's cool but over 3k people have viewed that video and while I don't see myself watching all of it I find it interesting.
We're living in an era where great long-form media analysis is being posted online for free, and people still find a way to complain, lmaooo. Some of y'all would not survive a Quinton Reviews video.
i would rather jump off of a bridge than watch that grease ball talk about a children's show for any amount of time.
Long form content rules, real dumb ass thing for adults to complain about lol I'm gonna give this album another chance and see if it's grown on me
Yeah? Doesn't mean it's bad either lol. It's dumb to complain about the length of something instead of the actual content. A lot of people like short content and the opposite is also true. Acting like it's weird to enjoy is stupid and annoying
